Amon all their popularity they even revealed their celebrity crushes. BTS Jungkook has already confessed in many interviews about his crush on the popular singer ‘IU’. At one of the Yahoo Music Awards, BTS was asked about the first album they bought with their own money.
And BTS’ Jungkook shyly confessed that it was IU’s album. A video of Jungkook and IU even went viral on social media that confirmed Jungkook’s crush on IU. This video is from Melon Music Awards 2017 where IU was nominated for a major category and even ended up winning the award. BTS’ Jungkook could not help but admire IU’s talent and speech during the awards night. The ARMY needed no more proof when Jungkook decided to dress as a bunny during 21st Century Girl Dance practice (Halloween ver.) The bunny was the replica of IU’s grey-colored bunny onesie worn during one of her television appearances. Although it could be a possible coincidence, fans were convinced kookie turned towards IU for the costume idea.

He also attempted to cover one of her songs and shared it online. He also confessed he turned towards learning guitar because he learned IU knew how to play a stringed instrument.
There is one special thing about IU when a much-awaited collab happened with the most talented rapper-producer SUGA the member of BTS. We wonder what Jungkook’s reaction was when we learned about this collab. On may 6 EDAM ENTERTAINMENT announced IU will be presenting a digital single with BTS Suga, IU and Suga have written the new song ‘EIGHT’ together.
When IU proposed the collaboration Suga accepted the proposal easily having great respect for each other. IU and Suga’s collaboration is said to be the biggest collab as they both are powerful solo stars.
After the song released fans believed that the song is dedicated to honoring her friends, the late Jong Hyun and Sulli. In an interview, IU shared that the production process of ‘EIGHT’ was super smooth. She revealed that Suga sent her the track, she wrote the melody and sent it to him. Both of them have approved and recorded it right away. She revealed that neither of them spent much time thinking over the collab.
Before the release fans worldwide also expressed their excitement over social media. Some fans even name the ‘collaboration of the century’.
After the collab with Suga, IU spoke about her struggles with bulimia on SBS “HEALING CAMP”.It was an uneasy time. My heartfelt emptiness and I tried to fill the void with food. However, instead of feeling better I became anxious and felt like I was lacking,” she said. She said that she would eat up until she threw up but she has since received treatment for it. Her appearance and her weight were not only the things she was struggling with mentally. IU said that she sometimes felt overrated and undeserving of the positive reviews that her music receives.
