Monsta X is a South Korean boy group formed through reality program No. Mercy by Starship Entertainment. The group is currently consisting of six individuals. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. with a former member Wonhu leaving the group in October 2019. Not all fans know, however, BTS and Monsta X are connected through individuals Suga and Kinhyun. Kihyun told a fan in 2015 they used to hang out with each other at night time earlier than their debut. Kihyun apparently knew about Suga’s underground rapping activities and they talked about music regularly.
Nowadays their busy schedule means they can’t hang out as regularly as before. But as Kihyun told KBS’s cool FM radio they still find time to speak every now and then!
